Gardaí have named the man killed in a Co Monaghan collision yesterday as Vairis Vilkrists.
Mr Vilkrists (42), a Latvian national, was killed at 3.15am yesterday when the lorry he was driving went out of control and hit a tree in Derrykinard. No other vehicles were involved.
Mr Vilkrists was living in Athlone, Co Westmeath, and had been in the Republic for a number of months.
