Gardaí make heroin seizure in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have seized heroin with an estimated street value of €300,000.

Gardaí in Dublin have seized heroin with an estimated street value of €300,000.

Gardaí from the Crumlin Detective Unit stopped and searched a car on Windmill Road in Dublin 12 as part of an ongoing operation into the sale and supply of drugs at around 12 noon today.

They uncovered two kilos of what is believed to be heroin, which will now be subject to analysis.

A 36 year old male was arrested and is currently being detained at Crumlin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. He can be detained for up to seven days.
