Gardaí are investigating the death of a 49-year-old-man at his flat in Ranelagh, south Dublin.
The body of Mr Alan Collins was found in his home on Ranelagh Road on Sunday. There was no sign of violence and no evidence of a break-in. He may have been alone at the time of his death, gardaí said.
Officers have asked friends and family who may have had contact with him in the preceding days to come forward. A post-mortem is due this morning by the State Pathologist, Dr John Harbison.
