Gardaí Ballylinan, Co Laois are investigating a crash which left a 21-year-old man dead this morning.
The collision happened on the N78 11.15 a.m. between a van and a jeep.
The driver of the van was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to Portlaoise General Hospital.
The driver of the jeep sustained minor injuries.
