Gardaí are investigating a fatal crash this morning on the N4 near Clonard, Co Meath in which a woman in her forties was killed.
She died following a collision between the car she was driving and a lorry at 9.45am at Mulphedder.
The male driver of the truck was uninjured. A post mortem will take place at Mullingar General Hospital.
The woman has not yet been named.
