Gardaí arrest two over Dublin heroin haul

Gardaí in Dublin have seized a quantity of heroin believed to have a street value of about €110,000.

Gardaí in Dublin have seized a quantity of heroin believed to have a street value of about €110,000.

The haul was made at 9am today at a residence in Dublin's city centre.

A man and a woman, both in their 20s, were arrested at the scene and are being detained in Santry Garda Station.

They are being held under Section Two of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996, and can be detained for up to seven days without charge.
