Gardaí in Galway are appealing to the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of  a 21-year-old student who has been missing since December 19th.

Michael Thomas Cox is described as 173 cm tall, with shoulder length brown wavy hair and wears glasses.

He is a student at NUI Galway and he was last seen wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a brown coat.

Mr Cox is a native of Multyfarnham, Co Westmeath.
