Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a crash in Co Meath on Monday morning that left a 27-year-old man dead.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a crash in Co Meath on Monday morning that left a 27-year-old man dead.

The man was a front seat passenger in a car that lost control and hit a tree at Kilmailham near kells at 1.45 a.m. on Monday.

"Any person who may have witnessed this accident or who may have travelled on the road prior to the accident is asked to contact the Gardai at Kells," a spokesman said.
