The Garda recommends the following traffic routes as suitable for the delivery of heavy machinery and goods to the event site at Ballacolla.
All exhibitor traffic will enter the site only by front entrance.
All traffic will leave the site by the back exit.
Exhibition traffic entry and exit routes will be signed.
Traffic From North Munster/ Tipperary via Rathdowney
R433 to Rathdowney.
Continue seven miles towards Ballacolla.
Turn right at Red House Cross as signposted. One mile to site entrance.
Traffic From West Munster/ Connacht
N7 north through Borris-in-Ossory and continue one mile to Derrin Cross.
Turn right on R434 to Ballacolla village.
Turn right in village on to R433 to Kilermough.
Cross and turn left as sign-posted to next crossroads.
Turn left and drive a half-mile to site entrance.
Traffic From Dublin/North Midlands
N8 to R433 to Abbeyleix.
Turn right on to Carlow R433 to Ballacolla and continue straight through village for one mile to Kilermough Cross.
Turn left as sign-posted to next crossroads.
Turn left and drive a half-mile to site entrance.
Traffic From South-East
N77 North to Durrow.
Turn right on to N8 300 yards after Durrow village.
Turn on to R434 to Moyne Cross. Keep left as sign-posted and drive a mile to site entrance.
Traffic From Munster/Cork
N8 to Durrow.
Some 300 yards after Durrow village, turn left on to R434 to Moyne Cross.
Keep left at Moyne Cross and drive one mile to site entrance.
