Three masked men attacked a 49-year-old man in his home in the Manor Park area of Lisburn, Co Antrim, overnight.
The three men, armed with baseball bats broke into the man’s house at about 12.50 a.m. and set about him while he was in his bed. They also damaged his house.
The victim is being treated in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
