A new exhibition of artefacts found during excavations of Galway city streets over the past two decades goes on display in the city's museum this weekend.

The Galway Excavations Project features 30 artefacts which have been collected from various excavations between Middle Street and Eyre Square since 1985. Some of the exhibits date back to the 13th and 14th centuries.
