The State has been given a further two months to prepare a book of evidence against four Englishmen accused of assaulting two gardai in Dublin city centre. All four defendants are from Cumbria. They are: Mr Warren Stainton (20); Mr David Skelton (23); Mr Stuart Aitken (21) and Mr Scott Walker (22). They are charged with assaulting Garda John O'Brien and Garda Chris Brosnan at Percy Place last August 17th.

Judge Gerard Haughton remanded the four on independent bail of £5,000 each.
