Lima - Amid rumours that he might not return to Peru, President Alberto Fujimori said in Tokyo yesterday that he would return, and that he is considering running in April 2001 for an assembly seat.
Mr Fujimori, on a stop in Japan, had been scheduled to attend a summit of Ibero-American heads of state and government in Panama yesterday and today, but changed his plans.
