Today's meeting at Lingfield has been abandoned because the course is frost-bound.
"We have had to abandon because of frost. The temperature is still six degrees below," said course spokesman Ian Renton.
"The course is solid in places."
However, the meeting at Haydock was given the go-ahead after an early morning inspection.
"We hardly had a frost last night," said Haydock general manager Adam Waterworth.
Cheltenham's big meeting, featuring the Tripleprint Gold Cup, is still in the balance because of frost and an inspection is also taking place at Doncaster.
No problems are reported at today's all-weather meetings at Southwell and Wolverhampton.
"The staff worked on the tracks last night, harrowing them both. The going is slow," Fergus Cameron, clerk of the course at both Southwell and Wolverhampton.
