Four injured in Drogheda disturbance

Four men were taken to hospital early this morning following what gardai have described as a serious disturbance in Drogheda.

Four men were taken to hospital early this morning following what gardai have described as a serious disturbance in Drogheda.

Gardai were called to Rathmullen Park in the town at around 4am where the four men were found with a range of injuries following a row.

The four, aged between 18 and 34 years, are being treated for stab wounds and facial injuries. All are in stable condition in hospital, where their injuries are described as non-life threatening.

Two knives were recovered from the scene and investigations are continuing.
