Driver absconded from scene after crash near Hellfire Club

Four people were taken to hospital last night following a single vehicle crash near the Hellfire Club in Dublin.

The incident occurred at around 11.20pm when the vehicle collided with a wall. The driver is understood to have absconded from the scene.

Four people were removed by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital although it is not thought their injuries were serious.

Emergency services responded to the scene of the accident near the Firhouse Road.

Five ambulances were dispatched by the Dublin Ambulance Service and were supported by the Dublin Fire Brigade. Tallaght gardai also attended the scene.
