Five people were being questioned by gardaí in Limerick last night in connection with the murder of a Southill man last year.
The body of Thomas Moran (26) was found on waste ground at John Carew Park, Southill, on November 13th. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound.
Gardaí investigating his murder arrested four men and two women in raids on Tuesday.
Five of the six people arrested are aged in their 30s and 40s, while one man is in his 60s. One of the women was released on Tuesday night, but the other five were still in custody last night.
