Four Turkish soldiers and five Kurdish rebels were killed in southeastern Turkey in an attack by Kurdish separatist rebels yesterday, the military said today.
Another soldier was killed when a military helicopter taking troops to the scene of the clash crashed due to technical failure.
Fifteen soldiers were also injured in the helicopter crash.
