Five men being questioned by the RUC about the disappearance of people thought to have been abducted and killed by the IRA have been released without charge.

They were arrested in raids in west Belfast on Wednesday and were freed the next day.

They are believed to be veteran republicans.

Around 12 people disappeared in Belfast during the Troubles. Most of them vanished in the 1970s.
