Five young men were arrested in the Galway area yesterday in connection with the alleged rape of two teenage girls in Athenry on Tuesday night. The men were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and questioned at Mill Street Garda station in Galway city. A Garda spokesman said that a file would be prepared for the DPP.
