A Galway software company which has been hit by staff shortages is offering £1,000 awards to members of the public who can help it to recruit software engineers.
Infopoint Systems (IRL) Ltd says it needs 20 software engineers immediately, and has put up £20,000 for its campaign. Any member of the public - be it a relation or friend of a qualified person - who is instrumental in finding a successful candidate is entitled to a reward of £1,000, according to the managing director, Mr Aidan Joyce.
Infopoint was set up in 1994 and specialises in the development of web-based, self-service software solutions. Two months ago it won a Galway Chamber of Commerce/Ernst and Young 2000 Business Award.
