A husband and wife were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after a firebomb attack on their home in the Waterside area of Derry early yesterday. The man also suffered a dislocated hip and a cut to his head as he tried to put out the fire in the downstairs of the house shortly after 6 a.m. Police said two petrol bombs and a quantity of flammable liquid were thrown through a window and set alight.
