Soccer:Fifa tonight announced they have opened disciplinary proceedings against two senior members alleged to have asked for cash in return for World Cup votes.

Nigeria’s Amos Adamu and Tahiti’s Reynald Temarii, both members of Fifa’s executive committee who will vote on the 2018 and 2022 hosts, will be dealt with by the world governing body’s ethics committee to see if they have violated Fifa’s code of ethics.

A separate investigation has also been opened into whether some bidding countries for 2018 and or 2022 breached bidding rules.
