More than 200 fathers have held a protest in Dublin at what they claim is the unfavourable treatment given to them by the courts when seeking access or custody of their children.
The Unmarried and Separated Fathers of Ireland group held their protest on O'Connell Bridge in Dublin.
The group claims constitutional reform to create a fair judicial is overdue and is campaigning for changes to the existing legislation on Family Law. It also wants changes to the structure and behaviour of the legal profession and judiciary.
These changes would include reforming family law to create a child-centred with compulsory mediation ahead of court cases to decide on family matters.
