A man in his 30s died yesterday following an accident at a building site in Stradbally, Co Laois.
The man, who was from the Stradbally area, died at the scene from injuries sustained in an accident involving the bucket of a track machine. The incident on the Carlow road occurred just after 4pm.
Last night gardaí in Stradbally undertook a technical examination of the building site. The Health and Safety Authority is also investigating the accident.
