A family syndicate from north Dublin collected a cheque for more than £2 million at National Lottery headquarters yesterday, having scooped the jackpot on Wednesday night.

The syndicate consisted of a mother, her daughter and son, who had been investing £1 each in every draw since the Lotto began.
