A fire which destroyed a factory in Dundalk yesterday afternoon has left about 100 people without work

A fire which destroyed a factory in Dundalk yesterday afternoon has left about 100 people without work. It broke out in Horseware Products on Quay Street just after one o'clock and quickly spread throughout the building. Nearby homes and premises were evacuated.

At one point there were 37 thirty seven firefighters involved.
