A former secretary of the GAA Ulster Council and former headmaster of Ballybay National School has been remanded in custody at Monaghan Circuit Court on 21 charges of indecent assault.

Michael Feeney (68) has pleaded guilty to 15 charges of sexually assaulting children between 1957 and 1978.

Judge Matt Deery remanded Feeney until tomorrow while he studies victim impact reports.
