Eva and the prince

Britain's Prince William, as anyone who reads the English papers must know, returned earlier this month from a tour as a volunteer with Raleigh International in Chile. What the papers didn't tell us is that one of his companions was Eva Geraghty, the 17year-old daughter of Des Geraghty, president of SIPTU and a great power in the land, and Rosheen Callender, the union's equality officer. Young Eva raised the £3,500 contribution necessary to join the UK based charity trip. She will be back in January after three months and many of her friends look forward to her stories of roughing it with the world's most eligible young bachelor. They worked together on several building projects and the handsome prince even cooked her lunch one day.
