London - The Moon has far bigger reserves of water than early findings from NASA's Lunar Prospector space probe had indicated, scientists said yesterday. Revised estimates suggest there may be three billion metric tons of water ice at each of the Moon's poles, with 15 per cent more in the north than in the south.
