Man dies from injuries after being struck by car in Galway

A man in his thirties has died from injuries sustained after he was hit by a car in Galway on Saturday.

The man was walking at Bushy Park, Moycullen Road in Galway when he was stuck by the car at around 1.40am.

He was taken to University Hospital Galway where he was pronounced dead on Sunday morning.

Gardaí have asked for any witnesses to contact Galway Garda station on 091-538000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
