A book of evidence was yesterday served on a 37-year-old man from the north Clare town of Lisdoonvarna charged with rape and 20 other sex-related offences against a female over a four-year period in Ennis.
The man was remanded on bail on his own surety of £5,000 to reappear before Ennis District Court on May 5th.
