Eleven people are being questioned by gardaí following the seizure of drugs worth nearly €3 million in three separate raids over the last 24 hours.
Shortly after 7am today, gardaí from Roscommon-Longford divisional drug unit searched a house near the village of Tulsk.
Cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy worth an estimated €80,000 and an undisclosed sum of cash were recovered as part of the planned operation into the sale and supply of drugs in the area.
Two men and a woman, all aged in their early 20s, were arrested at the scene and are being held at Boyle Garda station.
Last night three men, one in his 20s and two in their 30s, were arrested following a search of a business premises in Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole at 9pm.
Cannabis resin with an estimated street value of over €2 million was seized in the operation.
The men are being held at Clondalkin Garda station.
In Swords, five men aged in their 20s were arrested when gardaí foiled the hand over of drugs at the Airside Business Park shortly after 6pm.
Officers from the Organised Crime Unit seized up to 35kgs of cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €420,000.
The men are being held at Santry, Ballymun and Swords Garda stations.
All eleven are being held under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
