An elderly woman died when she was struck by a car in Co Donegal last night.
Gardai are investigating the crash which happened at Gortahork, Letterkenny, at around 9pm last night.
The victim, who was 81 years old, was fatally injured when she was struck by a car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post mortem was expected to take place today.
