MAYNOOTH College has a new clubs and societies room, thanks to those nice people at Heineken. The recently opened Heineken Clubs and Societies Office will serve as a base for the college's 70 clubs and societies, providing them with access to computer facilities, a phone, stationery and storage facilities, as well as a meeting room.

"The office will provide a solid base on campus from which clubs and societies can work," said Brian Gormley, Maynooth's student services officer. "It will also make it much easier to maintain contact with their counterparts in other colleges."
