Key Dates: Leaving Cert 2021

Key dates for the stages following the issue of results including access to data, viewing of scripts and appeals.

Thu Sep 2 2021 - 01:00

3 September: Leaving Certificate Results.

Results can be accessed via the examination portal from 10am. Schools will also receive a report by post.

7 September at 2pm: CAO Round One offers issued

7 September at 5pm: Access to Leaving Cert data

Candidates will have access to the following (as applicable):

a. Written examinations component marks and final marks

b. Accredited Grades estimated marks and accredited marks

7 September at 5pm: Application to view scripts

Opens: 5 pm, Tuesday 7 September

Closes: 8 pm Wednesday 8 September

Viewing of Scripts (flexibility here to have a viewing session on Sunday morning at the discretion of the school.)

11/12 September: Scripts marked on paper

Candidates to be assigned to one of three sessions on Saturday 11 or a session on Sunday 12 September at the discretion of the school.

1. Session 1. 9 am - 11 am

2. Session 2. 12 pm - 2 pm

3. Session 3. 3 pm - 5 pm

4. Session 4. 10 am- 12 pm (Sunday option)

11 September at 9am: Scripts Marked Online.

Online access to view these will be available from 9 am.

11-13 September: Application to appeal

Students wishing to apply to appeal their examinations and accredited grades can do so from 9am Saturday 11 September - 12pm Monday 13 September.

Appeals results. No date has yet been determined for when appeal results will be available due to uncertainty surrounding the number of likely appeals and the availability of teachers to review thise scripts due to schools being fully open from the beginning of September.
