EU Commissioner Viviance Reding made a flying visit to Dundalk recently to look in on the IBM Reinventing Education programme at St Vincent's School. Minister for Education Michael Woods, was also on hand to look both at the programme and at other e-learning initiatives for higher education and lifelong learning. Reinventing Education links parents, pupils, teachers and the wider community with each other and the global networked community. St Vincent's is one of eight schools in the Dundalk Learning Network (DLN).
