The schools' drama festival will be held in St Andrew's College, Booterstown, Co Dublin, from February 12th and runs until Thursday 15th. The third Young Playwright competition, run in conjunction with the festival, is sponsored by First Active, which is providing £1,000 in prize money. Playwright and novelist Joe O'Connor and artist/playwright Anne le Marquande Hartigan will judge. Open to fourth, fifth and sixth year full-time second-level students, the competition is for a new one-act play suitable for stage, screen or radio.
