Dear Editor, I find it quite amazing, if not outrageous, that the new literature curriculum for the Leaving Certificate does not include any of the works of James Joyce.

Students from all over the world, many of them younger than Leaving Certificate students, are already enthusiastically studying the Joyce's texts.
