www.turtle.ie This website is tracking the journey of a giant leatherback turtle, which left Dingle, Co Kerry for North Africa in August.
The turtle has swum over 2,500 kilometres and dived over 1,000 times on her journey South. The project, which is the first ever to track a leatherback in the North Atlantic, is sponsored by the EU and co-ordinated by the University of Swansea in Wales and University College Cork.
