A task force to examine the level of education services available for dyslexics has been set up by the Minister for Education, Dr Woods, and will report within three months.

The taskforce will assess whether current education provision is sufficient and whether current policies towards people with dyslexia need to be changed.

It will be chaired by Mr Peadar Cremin, president of Mary Immaculate teacher training college in Limerick.
