Blackburn boss Graeme Souness today insisted it would take "£20million plus" for him to even consider selling winger Damien Duff.

Liverpool are one of several Premiership clubs interested in the Republic of Ireland World Cup star. But Souness, who has signed a new four-year contract with Blackburn, believes Duff is going nowhere unless Rovers receive a "ridiculous" offer.

The Scot told Sky Sports News: "Unless we get a ridiculous offer he will be playing for us next year and the year after.

"We have had two offers but I would not blame clubs for making offers. He is a very good player. "It is going to take £20million-plus. If Rio Ferdinand is worth that money (£30million) then it must be the same for Duff."
