Gardaí were last night investigating two separate shooting incidents that took place in north Dublin.
Gardaí in Store Street are investigating a shooting that took place in a house at Coburg Place, just off Amiens Street, at 7.00 pm.
One man was taken to the Mater Hospital with gunshot wounds to the upper body following the incident. Gardaí sealed off the area.
In Cabra gardaí were investigating another incident at Annamoe Parade, a laneway off the North Circular Road. There were reports that gunshots were heard. Some blood was found at the scene.
A man who may been involved in the incident admitted himself to a city hospital, gardaí said last night.
