A Dublin man charged with the murder of his 12-year-old son last April has pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court today.

John Carroll (49) of Bayview Rise, Killiney, was charged with the murder of his son Andrew at his home on April 30th, 2004.

Mr Justice Paul Carney is expected to hear the trial this Friday.

A jury of four men and eight women have been sworn in.
