Drugs worth €120,000 seized in Dublin searches

Gardaí in Dublin have seized drugs worth €120,000 after two searches in the city last night.

Gardaí in Dublin have seized drugs worth €120,000 after two searches in the city last night.

Two houses, one on Donore Avenue and the other on New Street, Dublin 8 were searched.

At the Donore Avenue property, drugs officers Gardai found 20 kilograms of cannabis resin with a street value of €110,000. At New Street, gardai seized amphetamines with a street value of €10,000.

Two men aged 18 and 25 were arrested and are being questioned at Kevin Street Garda station under drug trafficking legislation.

They can be held for up to seven days.
