The trial of a Co Louth man charged with possession of cannabis resin worth about £300,000 has been adjourned because of legal argument in a trial ahead of it on the court list. In Dundalk Circuit Court yesterday, Mr Michael O'Higgins, defending, applied to have the matter adjourned.

Mr Vincent Donegan, Bawntaaffe, Monasterboice, is also charged with possession off the drug at Monasterboice last, May with intent to supply. He was remanded on continuing bail. The case was adjourned until next January.
