A man in his mid-30s was killed when his car struck a stationary truck on the southbound Blanchardstown exit off the M50 about 6.30 p.m. yesterday. The man was pronounced dead shortly after being admitted to Blanchardstown Hospital.
The accident happened in heavy rain. The name of the driver, believed to be from the Blanchardstown area, has not been released.
