Damascus - Christians and Muslims should stop "demonising" each other and work more closely together, the Archbishop of Canterbury told worshippers at a mosque in the Middle East yesterday.
Dr George Carey was speaking at the Abu Nour Mosque, the largest in the Syrian capital, Damascus, during an eightday tour of the region.
