A judge warned the DPP yesterday that, if a book of evidence was not produced in court on the next day the case was due to be heard, she would strike out all the charges against a religious brother charged with molesting young boys.

Judge Gillian Hussey was speaking in the case of a 56-year-old Franciscan brother who appeared in Kilmainham District Court on 58 charges of molesting young boys.

She remanded the accused man on continuing bail of £1,000 to November 19th for a book of evidence.
