Dissident republicans are believed to have been responsible for incendiary devices in shops across the North over the weekend. The RUC yesterday repeated its warning for shopkeepers to be alert after four firebombs were found.

Two devices were discovered in clothes shops in Dungannon and Cookstown, Co Tyrone, on Sunday night. The firebomb in Cookstown had partially exploded at William Street but did not cause serious damage.
